Kristin and Robby were high school sweethearts, and even when distance separated them for part of their courtship, their love for each other surmounted all hardships. Their wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever had the privilege to document. You can see from all the little details that they put so much of their heart and soul into the every little detail of their wedding. Kristin handmade most of their wedding decorations, and the two of them scoured thrift stores and Craigslist for just the right stuff to make their vintage-chic-themed wedding the perfect day to share with their friends and family, and most of all, for both of them to remember forever.

How could I possibly choose my favorite photos from a location like this??? I feel soo blessed to have been given the opportunity to travel to Maui over the summer to photograph Mark and Chrizil’s wedding — my first ever destination shoot! It was an absolutely beautiful venue for a wedding, and Mark and Chrizil are such a fun-loving couple who have great love and admiration for each other… Like I said, I wish I have all the space in the world to show off their pictures, but here are just a few…

Well, hello blog! I haven’t seen you in a while. Phew! This summer has been absolutely crazy. I’ve been blessed with friends who love my work enough to tell their friends all about me, and without any form of advertising, I’ve somehow managed to book several portrait sessions a week! I will post some more photos whenever I find a few minutes here and there between editing… I am so excited to have done my first ever DESTINATION wedding — in Maui!!! — and I will most certainly post some of my favorite photos from that wonderful experience soon. But first things first…. catching up on posting from some of my local sessions 
I was honored to have been part of a very intimate backyard summer wedding in early July, and here are just some of the photos from that marvelous event. Congratulations, Jen and Mark! This wedding is very special to me because not only is Jen one of my dear “Bunco” girlfriends, but her wedding was also almost exclusively planned and executed by all her (and my) friends, and everyone did an amazing job putting together Jen and Mark’s special day…

In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve added a short video slideshow I made from some pictures of Scott and Melissa’s wedding. Melissa found out about me from her sister and asked if I would do their engagement pictures. I said sure, and we had a blast walking along the riverside in downtown Reno, taking pictures at their favorite spots. We’ve since become good friends, and they are such a wonderful couple to work with! Their love story is truly one of a kind, and I was so excited when they entrusted me with documenting their big day. Photographing my first BIG wedding was such a wonderful, exhilirating experience, but I couldn’t possibly have done it entirely by myself. My heartfelt thanks go out to my dear husband, Erik, and to my good friend, Anna, for all of their hardwork in assisting me that day!
